Brief information about 3 days gorilla uganda tour to bwindi impenetrable forest located in Southwestern Uganda, home to half of the remaining world population of the rare and endangered mountain gorillas. This great tour experience starts and ends at the hotel in Kampala OR Entebbe airport. Offering you a safari to the legendary Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park famous for half the entire population of the remaining mountain gorillas worldwide. In order to minimise the impact of our clients, exposure to the gorillas is well controlled by local leaders. Group size is limited to a maximum of 8. Time spent with the gorillas is limited to one – three hours depending and a distance of 7 metres is maintained between the group and the gorillas at all times. Every effort is made to ensure the gorillas are not exposed to human bacteria – if you are suffering from a cold then you are not allowed to visit the gorillas, and touching the animals is strictly prohibited. You can be confident that your holiday is helping preserve these magnificent creatures in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking takes places daily, and its 100% sure seeing gorillas.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Forest – Home of mountain gorillas. (8-9 Hours drive)
Pick up from a hotel in Kampala OR hotel address in Entebbe near the airport, And drive to Bwindi. Meet and greet our company representative at the hotel address after having your breakfast and head to the biologically diverse and unique magnificent green impenetrable rainforest in southwestern Uganda, which sustains almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. You will have a stopover in Kayabwe for photographs at the Uganda equator and souvenir shopping accompanied with an en-route lunch in Mbarara town. Proceed to bwindi, the home of gorillas in Uganda. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the booked lodge. Accommodation: Gorilla Mist Camp (Full board)

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi forest - Life-time memorable experience
You are now in Bwindi and this is the moment you have been waiting for! After very early breakfast, you will be guided to the park headquarters for the briefing session about the gorilla trackers code of conduct from the park’s guides. There after, you will get ready, along with your packed lunches to embark on the lifetime memorable experience in this magnificent forest for gorilla tracking. The trail you use may reward you with exciting moments of the giant mountain gorillas ‘this will be a reward of the ultimate gorilla experience’ as well as other primates that inhabit the forest. The trek may be tough and slippery at some points but it all supersedes the excitement of viewing the gorillas at the end of the forest tour. Later after gorilla trekking experience, drive to lake Bunyonyi – for leisure and relax on a canoe ride at lake Bunyonyi. Accommodation: Bunyonyi Safari Resort (Full board)

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe (hotel address / Airport) (8-9 Hrs)
Return back to your Hotel in Kampala / drop off at Entebbe airport. After breakfast, get on board for a scenic journey through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape, an area referred as the "Switzerland of Africa". Observe the systematic cultivation of the Bakiga along the mountain slopes and enjoy the experience of what has been referred to as the Switzerland of Africa because of its cool nature. Along the way, break off for hot lunch. And proceed to Kampala reaching the capital late afternoon drop off at the hotel address / Entebbe airport for your departure.
