UGANDA WILDLIFE & GORILLA EXPEDITION SAFARI

DAY 01: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

This day is reserved for your drive from Kampala to Kibale forest National park. The drive will take a bigger part of the day reaching KFNP late evening with a stopover for lunch en’route. On arrival you may visit the Mparo tombs if at all time allows.

DAY 02: CHIMPANZEE TRAILING IN KIBALE FOREST 

Report to the park headquarters for briefing after breakfast at your lodge. You will then be assigned a guide who will lead your search for chimpanzees with hope of seeing them in their natural habitat.

You will conjointly see different primates just like the black and white colobus monkey, vervet and a lot more.

DAY 03: BIGODI SWAMP WALK AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, visit the Bigodi Swamp a birder’s paradise. When done with the walk, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check into your lodge and have lunch then relish a game drive within the crater lakes region.

DAY 04: GAME DRIVE AND LAUNCH CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL

After breakfast have a morning game drive within the park, wherever you will see lions, baboons, elephants, warthogs, antelopes, giraffes and a lot more. Come to your lodge for lunch then relax and relish an afternoon launch Cruise on Kazinga channel. Doable sightings could also be crocodiles basking under the sun, African sea (fish) eagle, black and white cormorants, and huge colleges of hippos, elephants taking a dip and different wildlife as it waters at the shores.

DAY 05: TRANSFER TO BWINDI

After breakfast check out of the lodge and drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest, en’route you may see the tree climbing lion in the Ishasha Sector of QENP. You may reach Bwindi late evening, check in your lodge for dinner and Rest.

DAY 06: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST

 After breakfast report to the park headquarters at 8am for briefing before embarking on your gorilla trekking spree. Checking out the gorillas can begin at the spot wherever they were last seen the day before and might absorb between half-hour to six hours depending on your luck.
